The Executive MBA Business Integration continues to be the first and probably the only Executive MBA program in Germany with an ISO-certification for its organization. On Mai 11th, 2009 the first repeat-audit took according to the recently updated and both nationally and internationally accepted norm DIN EN ISO 9001:2008.
In conclusion, the external auditor was full of praise for the organizational execution of the MBA program. If the organizational aspects have to be graded, he would have assigned a top grade as he claimed.
Within the repeat audit, all organizational areas of the MBA program have been tested thoroughly. The inspection took place on the basis of the relevant documents, i. e. particularly on the basis of the quality management handbook, the description of the organizational processes as well as the process instructions and the working instructions. After the inspection the external auditor emphasized on the very positive and continuous advancement and improvement of the quality management system.

The history of the certification goes back to the year 2006. After a successful first certification there were following surveillance audits in the past years, which examined certain areas of the quality management system. After the first three-year cycle of certification it was now time for the first repeat-audit, which the MBA team successfully completed.
According to the external auditor, the target-group-specific ratio system, the clearly arranged staff qualification matrix and the modality to gather, check and implement proposals and recommendations of students, instructors, and alumni should be characterized as exemplary. The pursuit of a continuous improvement of the organizational processes is fixed both in the corresponding documents of the quality management system and in the awareness of all MBA team members.
