Students from all over the world get to know the “Effects of Globalization“

From March 22 until March 31, 2009 the module “Effects of Globalization“ under supervision of Professor Dr. Michael Grömling (Institut der Deutschen Wirtschaft and International University of Applied Sciences Bad Honnef-Bonn) will take place for the participants of the QIAGEN Class of 2010. In the framework of this module the students – coming from all across the world: Asia, Europe and America – learn about the historical basics as well as about the current effects of globalization.

Topics will be facts and perspectives towards globalization as well as the development in the eurozone and the financial crisis. Through several group assignments all topics will be developed and the results will be exchanged through presentations and discussions of the students.

Besides the professional exchange, the personal exchange won't be missed out. For a change from the tight study program, the students may relax at a visit at the local brewery “Würzburger Hofbräu” and discuss with the fellow students and the instructors on a private basis.
