Create Value Networks with the supplementary module Logistics

Create Value Networks with the supplementary module Logistics

The supplementary module „Logistics“ will take place from March 26 until March 30 in Wuerzburg. All enrolled students and alumni as well as external participants are cordially invited to this MBA module.

International Interlacing and Focus on Integration

Logistics remains to be one of the biggest economic sectors in Germany. With the significant orientation to export on the one hand, and international interlacing on the other hand, networks for goods and information play an increasingly crucial role for production and services. Logistics is a discipline of transverse section with the main focus on the integration of processes, organisation, and information processing. The key task of global sourcing, production and distribution of goods lies within the strategic management of the embedded logistical network.

Logistics as a challenge for managers

Therefore, logistics turns more and more into an executive function in companies. Managers need a distinctive capability for an overall lateral thinking and acting that does not refer to only one department but to all. Besides solid methodical skills and analytical as well as conceptional abilities, decision-makers need a sense for mutual dependencies and their influence on internal procedures and those between companies.

Logistical understanding for internal processes and those between companies
