The Graduation Ceremony of our Class of 2011 will take place in the festive surrounding of the Tuscany Hall at the Princebishop’s Residence in Würzburg on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at 4.00 pm. During the Graduation Ceremony the students will receive their MBA certificates after the successful completion of the two-year study program as an award for the effort during the part-time program.
Financial Expert as Commencement SpeakerFor this special occasion, Dr. Thomas Schraml, Head of Group Investment of Allianz SE will hold the commencement speech. After his studies of Business Administration at the University of Würzburg, at the Université de Caen and at the State University of New York he achieved the doctoral degree at the Technical University of Dresden. Since 1997 Dr. Schraml is responsible for several departments within the Allianz Group, including Investment Controlling and Investment Management. Recently he acts as Head of Group Investment Audit of the Allianz SE in Munich.

Professors, Graduates and RelativesBesides Dr. Thomas Schraml, Professor Dr. Rainer Thome, Academic Director of the Executive MBA of the University of Würzburg will hold a speech during the Graduation Ceremony as well. Besides the professors of the School of Management and Economics, several graduates of the Executive MBA Business Integration and their family members will participate.Networking at the champagne receptionAfter the presentation of the MBA certificates there exists the possibility for the graduates to look back on the past months of the MBA studies during a champagne reception as well as to create networks with the other graduates. |
