Soar up with Business Intelligence

The majestic fortress on the top of the Marienberg will be the surrounding of the conference on „Business Intelligence – Software for Reporting, Analysis and OLAP in a direct comparison“. The two-day event is organized by the Business Application Research Center (BARC) and takes place on November 17 and 18, 2009. Students and Alumni of the MBA Business Integration have the opportunity to participate for free.


All in all 16 exhibitors will present their solutions for Business Intelligence and will show the comparative advantages of their own tools in comparison to those of their competitors. For a better comparison BARC will set a basis for the presentation and explain the available product range of every provider from the sight of an analyst.

Within the framework of a trade exhibition, the possibility is given to talk to providers, other customers and analysts besides the conference. Of course, other software demonstrations might be shown, so that all participants get a detailed insight into the range of the different solutions. Therefore, the conference allows a in time and place compressed decision support for the evaluation of software solutions in the field of decision-oriented information systems.
